At Cumnock Little Athletics Club, we are proud to bring together young athletes from Cumnock, Yeoval, Molong, and Manildra. Based in the village of Cumnock, we provide a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment where children aged 3 to 17 can learn, grow, and enjoy the sport of athletics.
As a part of Little Athletics NSW, we focus on delivering structured athletics every Monday evening from October to April (Term 4 and Term 1), running a 20-week season filled with skill-building, confidence-boosting, and community connection.
We promote:
· Fun and fitness
· Development of athletic skills
· Building of character and self-esteem
· Fostering good sportsmanship
Cumnock Little Athletics is a fully volunteer-run organisation, and the success of our weekly meets depends on the involvement of all parents and carers. Whether it’s timing races, raking the long jump pit, setting up equipment, or simply encouraging the athletes, every bit of help makes a difference. By pitching in, families not only support the smooth running of the program but also become part of the strong, supportive community that makes our club so special.
Cumnock Little Athletics may be small, but we offer big opportunities. Our athletes start at the Western Plains Zone and can progress to Regional and even State Championships in Sydney. Many have achieved incredible results, showing that kids from our small town can go far!
